Four former Rainbow Warriors quickly found their way on to NFL rosters after the draft.

Four former Rainbow Warriors quickly found their way on to NFL rosters after the draft.

Offensive lineman Leo Koloamatangi, kicker Rigo Sanchez, wideout Marcus Kemp and linebacker Jerrol Garcia-Williams all signed free agent contracts with teams on Saturday, according to the Honolulu Star Advertiser.

Koloamatangi got the call from the Lions. He made 20 starts for the Rainbow Warriors, mostly as an interior offensive lineman, earning an all-Mountain West honorable mention in 2016. According to profootballfocus.com, he only yielded one sack last season.

Sanchez is heading to the Colts. He appeared in all 14 games as the team’s punter. He also handled all the kicking duties including kickoffs, field goals and extra points. He was a perfect 13-for-13 on field goals, breaking Jason Elam’s single-season school FG percentage record. Indianapolis has veteran Adam Vinatieri on the roster, but are still looking to fill the hole left by the surprise retirement of Pro Bowl punter Pat McAfee.

The Cheifs will take a look at Kemp — last year’s MVP for UH. He led the team with 1,100 yards on 73 receptions last season and ranks ninth on the team’s all-time receiving yards list.

Garcia-Williams will transition from the island life to Mile High, joining the Denver Broncos. In his senior season Garcia-Williams appeared in 10 games and recorded 31 total tackles, including two for a loss.
